AFTERCARE

Please reach us at info@mehndibyyousra.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Proper aftercare is essential for achieving the best results and ensuring your henna design lasts as long as possible.

To help you get the most out of your bridal henna, I’ve included important preparation and aftercare instructions below.

Do not wear gloves.
Do not use cling wrap.
Do not cover your arms with plastic bags while you sleep.
Humidity can ruin the fine details.

The lemon–sugar seal will hold the paste in place.

Otherwise, consider  the application of Mefix tape as an essential step in your bridal henna process.

Apply coconut oil (Any natural oil will work).

In the morning, scrape off the dried henna.
Use the back of a butter knife.
Do NOT use water.

Cover your arms and legs well.

Sit in front of a heater for 5–10 minutes.
Keep the area warm.
You may carefully use a hair dryer.
Repeat this often before your wedding day.

Apply oil before you shower.

Henna darkens naturally. This happens through oxidation. Heat helps the stain deepen.

The stain develops over 24–48 hours.

Follow these steps carefully.
This will give you the best results.
